Swan Hill College - Cultural Tour of Singapore 2026
This 10-day educational tour to Singapore has been designed for students and staff from Swan Hill College. The tour aims to immerse students in the culture of Singapore while exploring its rich history, iconic attractions, and urban innovations.
Highlights of the itinerary include two days at Universal Studios and Adventure Cove, an exploration of the culturally significant precincts of Kampong Glam, Little India and Chinatown, and opportunities to deepen students' understanding of World War II through museum visits. Sustainability and resource management—key themes in Singapore’s development—will also be explored. A visit to the Australian High Commission is also included.
Students and staff will visit the Bird Paradise, Singapore Zoo and the Night Safari. They will take part in a hands-on cooking class, enjoy panoramic views from the Singapore Flyer, explore the Marina Bay precinct, and gain confidence navigating the city via the efficient MRT underground rail system.
Throughout this tour, students will experience an efficiently organised city that offers fresh perspectives and meaningful real-world learning. This itinerary combines education with cultural insight, and deepening students’ understanding of global citizenship.
